Maybe you could get Carole and I to join you on your quest to be healthy. Unlike Carole, I am not a runner (in reality not much of a mover at all) so it might be a real stretch but after seeing the pictures of our trip, I am ready to try. See you soon. I think that everything sounds great except I think that I think it should be a lifestyle change and not just a diet.

And I don't think that you should cut out carbs so much as you should focus on eating good carbs like whole grain oatmeal (which you mentioned). According to the USDA food pyramid, the basis of the diet should actually be carbs. But it needs to be the "right carbs" like whole grains as opposed to doughnuts.

And I just think that if you see it as more of a lifestyle change rather than a diet you'll be more likely to make sustainable choices that will benefit your health and weight in the long term.

So, I realize this comment could be potentially annoying since it's unsolicited advice from someone who is not a diet guru. But I'm just commenting from some nutrition classes and experience. Feel free to ignore!

Also, I don't think either of you are fat. You are both practically Abercrombie models. Let that be known! I'm just trying to offer suggestions that may be helpful.

Also, I laughed out loud when you mentioned bumping your heads! Funny.

The End.Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00137973150329393417noreply@blogger.com
